Honey Darko is comprised of the darkest elements we could find. Caramelized honey was the base for this mead. We added cacao nibs and vanilla beans and aged in a “Double Chocolate” Tippins store pick bourbon barrel. The nose is chocolate with a hint of alcohol. Additional notes of vanilla and caramel on the tongue.
Golden amber color, crystal clear
Delicious, great BA to honey to chocolate ratio. The vanilla beans balance out the nibs. Very good, room temp.
